RS HTML5 Beta Programme

The beta programme of RS has been up and working for more than a month, and received lots of positive response on the HTML5 client beta. Someone owned runescape accounts said that they did sign up and even have access to nis alpha but unfortunately they can't find play html beta -- it's probably just a technical hiccup. Even if the HTML5 Beta login button doesn't appear in the Beta area of the website, players should still be able to log in via the direct link, and bookmark it for quick access. The other problem appeared is that when players click on the link it goes to the beta login without any problem - even when not logged into the website first.

Some people like the NIS update because you can drag an item out of your inventory to drop it, and mouse wheel zooms in/out, as well as any customized service. Also you can put the chat interfaces on the main screen, it is clan and private.

Still there is something users would like to change: Minor issue with Interlocking Interfaces. When filling the bottom row of the screen with interfaces (such as chat, ability bar, My Hero interface, and backback), if putting a larger interface in the bottom right corner, it won't interlock there, although it should fit. So the My Hero interface must firstly be moved away, and then put in the corner interface, then put back the My Hero interface, size changes is unnecessary.

Officials have now completed the first round of bug fixes, and they've also improved the standardization of lighting, reduced the bloom on character models, and improved the performance of environmental flowing water. Everyone who showed interest in the RuneScape Beta Programme now has access to the HTML5 client beta. So, if you haven't yet had the chance to log in, you can try now! And if you want to sell runescape accounts, please contact us!
